What to do if you get ratted.

It is recommend to use a second unaffected device for the following steps (many rats have persistence/remote control capabilities), if you are on a different device, completely shut down the affected computer.

Go to https://account.live.com/proofs/manage and complete all of the following:

• Change your password
• Turn 2FA on
• Sign out of everywhere
• Reset Windows Hello
• Generate a new recovery code

Go to https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Settings?rtc=1&activetab=main:privilegetab and, Click on the tab that says "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" and block all of the settings.

It is recommended to block all of the settings for atleast 48 hours.

Go to https://microsoft.com/consent and remove ALL apps.

If you have been ratted by downloading a malicious file, it is likely they also stole other creditinals. Such as discord tokens, passwords, and sensitive files.

You should seek to change all of your passwords, enable 2FA, and monitor your accounts for any suspicious activity.
